PLEYO is a Web-enabler for CE devices, an independent software editor specialized on Web technologies for CE devices.

PLEYO invests a lot of its technology in the opensource community and brings back to CE eco-system the best of the community.

The company is mainly focused on 3 families of devices :

The core-team has been working on Web technologies for Embedded devices for more than 10 years, working on various Web engines and embedded contexts.

The entry point of PLEYO’s technology is, obviously, a web browser. PLEYO proposes an opensource embedded web-browser, OWB (Origyn Web Browser) based on Webkit, Apple’s web engine.PLEYO merges WebKit in sand-labs.org repository three times per week, to keep on track with WebKit fast-track evolutions.

How can we do so many merges? We are using Origyn Production.
PLEYO uses its source forge www.sand-labs.org to publish and host third parties opensources projects related to Wed technologies for CE devices.

PLEYO’s Widget Farm is the first product built on top of Origyn Suite. It is a smart delivery platform for web-services and widgets to any devices running OWB.

Widgets are integrated to the Farm by Pleyo and some other partners.
